The UNEEP Accelerate Entrepreneurship Challenge is a global initiative under the UNEEP Youth and Women Entrepreneurship Portfolio. It aims to empower entrepreneurs, startups, MSMEs, SMEs and large companies driving innovation, job creation and sustainable growth across the world.

• Support youth and women in applying business solutions to global challenges.
• Promote startups, MSMEs and established companies that create jobs and sustainable value.
• Address unmet needs in underserved or emerging markets.
• Strengthen value chains and inclusive business ecosystems worldwide.

UNEEP invites entrepreneurs and enterprises of all sizes to apply for grants of up to USD 1,000,000. Eligible applicants include legally registered startups, MSMEs, SMEs and large corporations demonstrating innovation, scalability and community impact.

• Legally registered entity.
• Privately owned and managed (not government-operated).
• Provide valid registration documents and ID verification of principal owners.
• Demonstrate financial accountability and capacity to manage funds.
• Clearly show measurable economic or social impact.

• Be in good legal and financial standing.
• Present a budget not exceeding USD 1,000,000.
• Demonstrate sustainability and job creation potential.
• Obtain relevant certifications, licences or insurance if required.
